Bio
Sofia is a lecturer in several photographic disciplines and Nihilsentimentalgia now works as the fundamental resource of information for her students. Given her professional practice, education is a recurrent theme and her students are frequently mentioned. In 2018, Sofia finished a Ph.D. on ‘Authenticity’, so don’t be surprised if posts on authenticity-related issues happen to come your way. Phototherapy is also a recurrent theme, for she practices art therapy as survival mode. She is also founder and editor @ Propeller, a magazine dedicated to photographic expression and founder of Tira-Olhos – Associação de Fotografia Experimental.
